This oral history covers Gansbaai from 1950 to today. Philip will share photos of the development of Gansbaai, his understanding of the Gansbaai ethos and his view of Gansbaai today. The sea and fishing are the cornerstones of the Gansbaai society and fishing has formed the foundation for several successful business enterprises. Philip’s story is about his life and the lives of people around him.
