Greater Hermanus, as far as the History Society defines it, stretches from the eastern boundary of Voelklip to Fisherhaven in the west. Re-acquainting myself with this space after a long lockdown, I was surprised at how urban it has become. But, it was once a tiny rural village so I looked in my records for images to back up this history. Here are four I found. More details on each are given with each image.
